Description

In this "Yin and Restore" class, we’ll start with Yin Yoga, a practice designed to stretch and target the deeper connective tissues of the body, such as fascia, ligaments, and joints. By holding each pose for several minutes, Yin allows the body to sink deeper into each stretch, promoting flexibility and releasing long-held tension. Throughout this part of the class, we’ll focus on mindfulness and body awareness, encouraging you to be present in each moment and fully engage with the sensations in your body. As we progress, we’ll gently transition into Restorative Yoga. Unlike the more intense stretches of Yin, Restorative Yoga is all about comfort and deep relaxation. Using props like bolsters, blankets, and blocks, we’ll support the body in restful poses that are held for extended periods. These positions are designed to calm the nervous system, allowing both the mind and body to enter a state of deep rest and healing. The focus will shift from stretching to unwinding, offering you a chance to fully let go and experience profound relaxation. By the end of the class, the combination of Yin Yoga's deep stretches and Restorative Yoga’s calming poses will leave you feeling balanced and rejuvenated. The deliberate slow pace will help release any lingering tension, creating a sense of spaciousness and ease in both body and mind. This practice is ideal for anyone looking to unwind, restore energy, and reconnect with a sense of inner peace. NOTE: Be on Time! Be sure to be on time for your chosen appointment. Refrain from eating at least 2 hours before and avoid drinking within the last 30 minutes before your session. For yoga we practice barefoot. Please remove your socks and shoes prior to starting of practice. Please turn your mobile phone to silent as to maintain a calm and quiet atmosphere. Wear comfortable but not too loose clothes and bring a small towel in case you need it. If you have health concerns, consult your doctor or therapist before starting your yoga journey. Due to limited space, reservations are required. If you are unable to attend afterall, please reschedule/cancel your reservation at least 3 hours in advance. Failure to cancel within this timeframe will result in being charged for the class.
